Kent joined ESPN Golf Schools Presented by American Express in the spring of 2005. He makes his home in Delta, Utah and teaches private lessons at South Mountain Golf Club in Draper, Utah. Previously the Head Golf Professional at Sunset View Golf Course in Delta, Utah, Kent has over 20 years of teaching experience and a wealth of golf instruction knowledge. He is able to improve a student's ball flight very quickly with basic fundamentals. He is passionate about making his golf students better.

Kent loves to compete and is one of the better players in the Utah area. He finished tied for first in the Professional Division of the 2004 Utah Open. He is also a Class A PGA Member of the Utah Section.
